Batik
Sandy’s Potato Dolls & Clothing
Sandy’s Batik material was taken to a dry cleaner to have all the wax removed from the fabric making it supple.
Sandy is an excellent seamstress who transformed some of her fabric into a doll, and a shirt for her grandchild, Ivy.
Sandy used both Batik processes during her class, one being hand painted, and the other being dipped dyed.
This is yet another example of how Batik fabric can be utilized by students taking Group Classes or Private Lessons!
